Yes. Any hard surface will do, really. It's undeniably frustrating... though I have found that it can both help and hinder when it comes to writing yourself into a corner? Thinking too hard about plots and concepts, and filling everything in two early, has come back to bite me more than once.

Hahaha, weeell... I have a few collaborative things going on at the moment; one is roleplay based, the other is fanfic. The one I was referring to just now is the fanfic one; a cross-over and mish-mash thing, brought about by combining Final Fantasy Seven with Detective Conan & Magic Kaito. It is on-going, but I took my half of the fics down a while back for revamping.

Some of the concept art is amazing. Hiko's redesign scares the socks off me, though. I mean, really -- flowers? And his hair, oh man. I won't even get started on that.

I've been reading "Burnt Offerings", too! The bloodier, the better. I'm a sucker for seeing the character's I love in gratuitous amounts of pain.
